First hand teachings:
The
two most outstanding humans in all the religions are without doubt Guantama-Buddha
and Jesus Christ. In their teachings they are both reckoned as gods or of godly
posture. There is a third person; Muhammad. But, he do not belong in this heat.
We will discuss his career in a later
post.
Both Buddha and Jesus are by heart anti/non violent
and pacifistic to the core. And both their teachings put great emphasize on
humbleness. A very appealing aspect in Budha’s teaching is that virtually
anyone can walk the path he walked. Its just a matter of appropriate meditation
that will make you obtain transcendental or spiritual existence. In that sense
it is absolute democratic: Everyone can do it if you just put your mind to it.
You might actually be able to give yourself salvation. The downside with
Buddhism though is how they envision the state of Nirvana.
