The most common deities in the Hinduist and Buddhist Pantheons.

When it comes to the Hindu, Buddhist Pantheons I have to admit I am not very familiar with them, and suffer from severe lack of knowledge. But then again. That is just what this project is all about: Searching for knowledge and obtaining wisdom.
In my relative ignorance I assume that the Hindu and the Buddhist Pantheons are close related to each other and somewhat overlap. As is the case with the Christian, Islamic and ancient Egyptian and Middle-East and Persian religions’ Pantheons.

We will start out with recognizing some “mainstream” gods that we at least know a little bit about:

The ones that protects, passes on good things and fortunes for humans are: Durga, Ganesha, Rama, Hanuman, Vishnu, Lakshmi, Sarasvati, Gautama/Buddha, Akashagonta, Amitaba, Amitayua, Amogasiddhi and legions more.

And the perpetrators of evil and destruction are: Shiva, Kali, Lang Dharma, Mara and legions of demons of all imaginable kinds.
